Tuliptastic!

The weather has undoubtedly had a lot to do with it, but we think our tulips this year are the best yet.

The colours, fullness of the doubles and the stem length have been brilliant, and they are so sturdy they last really well in the vase. They did all come at the same time rather, but that was probably the weather as well.

We have picked lots for bunches, had quite a few pickers and enjoyed watching people stop to look when they are coming down the path.

It is always a dilemma for me as a grower - you need lots to catch peoples attention and look great, but you also want as many as possible picked and sold. I think the only solution is more, more, more!
